Some Scrappy Goodness & Wishlist Update

Yes, as per the usual I haven't posted in a while. Just always seems like so much is going on and so when it's not I veg. With the shift in life and switch in priorities the blog is definitely at the bottom of the list. But, I like knowing it's here and knowing I can come back to it at any time and it's still waiting for me.

Anyway, I was thinking the other day about a blog I posted way back...in 2009. It was a wishlist of things that I wanted. Lately I've been thinking about how fortunate I've been. Yes, things were bad, really bad....but out of it so much good. I wanted things, material things, and out of the list of 10 things I have 8 of them. Things that I've worked hard for. Things that I'm proud of. Speaking of these things....one of them was a new camera! Fulfilled a several years dream of getting a new Nikon digital SLR and lens. I also got her some accessories (filters, remote). So, I have the feeling you'll be seeing me post more with more photos. Proof of a good life. :)

So on to the scrappy goodness. Marie and I scrapped together at Our Paper Place this weekend where I started/finished these guys:

A couple of weekends ago I went to the Anaheim Scrapbook Expo with my friend Liz. We went to a crop and spent lots of money. Thing about being out of the loop was that the "old" stuff was pretty "new" to us. I'm definitely stocked up on bling and alpha stickers.

The day after the expo Jarid and I did some exploring, going to Venice Beach, Melrose (Kid Robot, what up!)



Anywho....off to some crafting. If anyone is following some really great blogs these days leave me a link to them. Being out of the loop I don't know who is "in" and who isn't these days!
